Corn futures posted gains of to 1 cents on Tuesday. Export news gave the market a lift. Private exporters reported to the USDA 276,000 MT of corn sold to South Korea for 2016/17 delivery. The US Dollar Index regained a fraction of its loss from Monday, leaving a harami formation on the candlestick charts. US ethanol exports for October was a solid 131 million gallons, including shipments to Brazil. A Bloomberg News survey of trade analysts has the average pre-report estimate for US ending stocks at 2.414 million bushels(mbu). That would be 11 mbu larger than the November figure and up nearly 39% vs. the prior year. Dec 16 Corn closed at $3.51, up 1 1/2 cents, Mar 17 Corn closed at $3.60 1/2, up 1 1/4 cents, May 17 Corn closed at $3.67 1/4, up 1 cent Jul 17 Corn closed at $3.74 1/4, up 3/4 cent
