Soybean futures are continuing their upward trend today, currently 5 3/4 to 7 3/4. Soy meal is up $3.10 in the March 17 contract and oil is up 9 points The National average price reported by yesterday DTN for soybeans is 9.94 3/4, a 6 month high. The weather pattern in most of South America is forecast to dry out over the next several days.. The NOPA December crush was down 576,000 bu from November, but was still crushing 5.16 mbu a day. Recent Chinese crush has reportedly been averaging 1.8 MMT per week. Mar 17 Soybeans are at $10.77, up 7 3/4 cents, May 17 Soybeans are at $10.85 1/4, up 7 1/4 cents, Jul 17 Soybeans are at $10.89 1/4, up 6 cents, Aug 17 Soybeans are at $10.81 1/2, up 5 3/4 cents, Mar 17 Soybean Meal is at $351.90, up $3.10, Mar 17 Soybean Oil is at $35.65, up $0.09
