Austin Schroeder

Austin Schroeder is the President and owner of Schroeder Commodity Marketing, which provides fundamental and technical analysis in the commodities markets for both ag producers and end users alike, specializing in corn, soybeans, wheat, cattle, hogs, cotton and the occasional energy markets. With clients across the U.S. and other countries, he provides risk management consulting, training on the use of price risk management tools, and outlook and educational seminars for businesses and individuals involved in the food and agriculture sector. He has also written columns for Farm Futures and AgWeb, as well as several appearances on local and national radio and television networks.

He grew up in the heart of corn and cattle country in south-central Nebraska, spending summers of his youth working on the family farm. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduating with a B.S in Animal Science, focusing on livestock production. After a stint in the feedlot industry, he worked as a commodity analyst for Brugler Marketing & Management LLC, under the mentorship of Alan Brugler. With a lifetime in agriculture and spending more than a decade analyzing the commodity markets, he brings a well-rounded approach to assisting producers in marketing decisions.
