Hard Red Wheat Futures Market News and Commentary
Wednesday wheat trading starts with 7 to 12 cent per bushel losses in the domestic futures market. KC HRW is the weakest. The wheat complex closed Tuesday with CBT futures down 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 cents, HRW down 2 3/4 to 3 1/4 cents, and 3/4 to 3 1/2 cent losses in spring wheat futures. The national SRW cash price from cmdtyView was reported at $5.85/bushel on 10/27. That was down 4 1/4, maintaining basis, but up from $4.94 at this time last year. Russia’s SovEcon stated 94% of intended winter grains were planted on 18m HA.
