The wheat trade led the grains higher with double digit gains on Wednesday. SRW closed with 2.1% to 2.3% gains, with March up by 17 1/4 cents. HRW futures were 1.5% to 2% higher at the bell, with a 17 cent gain in March. Spring wheat futures closed 0.8% to 1.3% higher on a 11 3/4 cent gain for March.Â
The market sees a modest amount of risk premium for winterkill out of this week’s subzero Plains temps.Â
Weekly wheat export sales are expected to be between 200k and 500k MT.Â
