Through midday, the wheat markets are ~ a dime off their lows, but still down by double digits. CBT SRW is trading 12 1/4 to 15 cents in the red. Midday HRW quotes are also 14 1/4 to 17 cents lower. Spring wheat futures are trading with midday losses of as much as 21 cents.Â
Inspections data from USDA’s FGIS showed 256,601 MT of wheat was shipped during the week that ended 7/28. That was a 219k MT drop from last week and was 148k MT below the same week last year. Most (42%) of the week’s shipment was HRS spring wheat.
