Wheat futures are up by 2 to 7 cents across the front months of all classes so far this morning. Front month KC wheat futures printed a 12 cent range, from -3 to +9 cents on Thursday. The board ended mid-range on 2 to 3 1/2 cent front month gains and have March at a 22 cent gain for the week to date. The Chicago wheat market ended the session 3 3/4 to 5 1/2 cents weaker. Spring wheats closed 5 1/2 to 8 cents in the red, leaving March at a 12 3/4 cent gain week-to-date. Â
FAS data showed 334,207 MT of wheat was sold during the week that ended 12/15. Unknown destinations were the top buyer, with 66k MT for Japan. The export shipments for the week totaled 235k MT for a 10.24 MMT yearly total. FAS data had 14.444 MMT of commitments for the season. Of that, HRS commitments were 30.4% of the total, followed by 28% for HRW.Â

Mar 23 MGEX Wheat  closed at $9.22 1/4, down 5 1/2 cents, currently up 2 1/2 cents
