Wheat Market News and Commentary

Wheat futures are trading steady to 3 cents lower at the moment. They posted 1 to 5 cent losses in most winter wheat contracts, with MPLS steady to 2 cents lower. Nearby KC hit contract lows Friday and was down 3.59% on the week, with March CBT hitting a 1 year low and losing 2.51% for the week. MPLS was the leader to the upside, posting a weekly gain of 0.79%. Paris milling futures closed higher on Monday after trading at the lowest prices since last July. They lost 3.82% last week on a downside breakout from an extended consolidation pattern.--provided by Brugler Marketing & Management
