Corn futures are trading lower through the Tuesday midday, giving back double digits of as much as 20 cents. New crop is also red, though losses are limited to 7 3/4 cents so far. respectively.Â
USDA reported weekly corn shipments of 1.582 MMT for the week that ended 3/3. That was up from 1.555 MMT last week, but down about 100k MT from the same week last year. Accumulated corn exports reached 24.78 MMT (975 mbu) through 3/3 according to inspections data. That trails last season’s pace by 124 mbu, but is 40.2% of the USDA forecasted total.Â
