Monthly Survey of Manufacturing (Oct.) Manufacturing sales rose 3.3% in September, driven by higher sales of transportation equipment and petroleum and coal products. On a quarterly basis, total sales rose 2.8% in the third quarter of 2025.

Housing Starts (Nov.) Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation reported the seasonally adjusted annualized rate of housing starts dropped to 232,765 units from a revised 279,174 units in September. Economists had expected starts to fall to 265,000.

Consumer Price Index (Nov.) CPI rose 2.2% year over year in October, down from a 2.4% increase in September. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, the CPI rose 0.1% in October.

CREA MLS Stats (Nov.) The number of home sales recorded over Canadian MLS® Systems edged up 0.9% on a month-over-month basis in October 2025, marking six monthly gains in the last seven months.
