Cotton Field with Trees in Backgound
After a turnaround Tuesday attempt overnight was failed, cotton prices rallied 33 to 101 points on the day. December saw a 220 point range on the day. Â The ($DXY) Â was lower early in the day, but ultimately gained 165 points.Â
The Seam reported 1,320 bales were sold on 5/15 for an average price of 76.7 cents. The Cotlook A Index was 92.45 cents per pound on 5/15, up by 60 points. The AWP for cotton was raised 128 points to 67.97 cents.
