So far for Monday trading, the cotton complex is 33 to 71 points higher. For December futures that has the board back to highs not seen since early October.
The Cotlook A Index for 11/4 was 390 points stronger to 100.1 cents. USDA’s weekly Cotton Market Review showed 3,057 bales were sold through the week for an average price of 76.61 cents/lb. USDA updated the AWP for cotton to 65.46 cents, down by 349 points.
Dec 22 Cotton is at 87.53, up 60 points,
Mar 23 Cotton is at 85.96, up 29 points,
May 23 Cotton is at 84.88, up 25 points
