The Ames, Iowa-based bank said it had earnings of 49 cents per share.
The bank posted revenue of $19.3 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $15.3 million, topping Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $19.3 million, or $2.14 per share. Revenue was reported as $62.9 million.
Ames National shares have increased slightly more than 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Friday, shares hit $24.18, a decline of roughly 3% in the last 12 months.
