WYNYARD PARK STOCKTON-ON-TEES, Britain (AP) _ Venator Materials PLC (VNTR) on Monday reported a loss of $50 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Wynyard park stockton-On-Tees, Britain-based company said it had a loss of 46 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 33 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 6 cents per share.
The chemical company posted revenue of $506 million in the period, which also did not meet Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $547.7 million.
