Cotton Plant with Multiple Pieces
Front month cotton futures are pushing upward through Friday’s midday. Futures gains are near the 3 cent mark with Oct up 302 and Dec 301 points stronger.
The Fed is meeting in Jaxon Hole for their regular economic outlook conference. Their findings will be made public later today.
The Cotlook A Index (old crop) was back up by 175 to 132.25 cents. USDA raised the AWP for cotton another 258 points to 104.48.
Oct 22 Cotton is at 120.2, up 302 points,
Dec 22 Cotton is at 117.12, up 301 points,
Mar 23 Cotton is at 113.66, up 283 points
