So far this morning the July contract is up by 72 points. New crop cotton futures are trading red with losses of 52 to 110 points. Cotton prices were down by 197 to 218 points on the Turnaround Tuesday session. That left July 430 points off the high from 6/10. December prices stayed a 22.83 cent discount to the July.Â
USDA’s 6/14 DSQ report showed no sales for Monday. The MYTD spot sales were 1.618m bales. The Cotlook A index for 6/13 was 163.05 after a 150 point slide. USDA’s AWP for cotton at 134.41 cents/lb through Thursday.Â
Jul 22 Cotton  closed at 143.48, down 218 points, currently up 72 pointsÂ
Dec 22 Cotton  closed at 120.65, down 216 points, currently down 70 points
Mar 23 Cotton  closed at 116.04, down 217 points, currently down 62 points
