The Burlington, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents per share.
The biometrics software provider posted revenue of $4.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $5.9 million, or 28 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $17.3 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.69. A year ago, they were trading at $1.49.
