ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) — ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) — Avanos Medical, Inc. (AVNS) on Tuesday reported a second-quarter loss of $76.8 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Alpharetta, Georgia-based company said it had a loss of $1.66. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 17 cents per share.
The medical technology company posted revenue of $175 million in the period.
Avanos Medical expects full-year earnings in the range of 75 cents to 95 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $665 million to $685 million.
Avanos Medical shares have dropped 29% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 53% in the last 12 months.
