C3 AI (AI) has secured a $13 million task order to broaden its predictive maintenance solutions for the U.S. Air Force, enhancing readiness across additional aircraft and sensor-based systems. This move marks the first order under the $450 million Production-Other Transaction Agreement recently awarded to the company.
The expanded work will leverage C3 AI's existing AI-powered platform and predictive maintenance application, known as PANDA. PANDA, which was developed in collaboration with the Air Force, integrates real-time data analytics and data fusion to reduce lifecycle costs and boost fleet availability. The initiative underscores the growing role of advanced AI in sustaining critical military assets and maintaining readiness for deployment.
C3 AI's CEO, Thomas M. Siebel, emphasized the broader implications of this development, noting that enterprise AI is transforming military preparedness and delivers significant benefits when fully scaled.
Beyond this Air Force project, C3 AI offers a range of solutions including the C3 Agentic AI Platform and C3 Generative AI tools, aimed at helping businesses and government agencies modernize through AI-driven applications.
