CALGARY - TC Energy Corp. says it had a net income of $959 million in the fourth quarter, down from $1.07 million in the same quarter last year.
The pipeline operator says earnings worked out to 92 cents per share in the quarter ending Dec. 31, down from $1.03 a share last year.
Revenue totalled $4.17 billion for the quarter, up from $3.58 billion in the same quarter last year.
TC Energy says its comparable earnings worked out to 98 cents per share, Â down from $1.05 per share in the fourth quarter of 2024.Â
Analysts on average had expected an adjusted profit of 92 cents per share, according to data compiled by LSEG Data & Analytics.
TC Energy says record power demand from data centres, coal-to-gas conversions and LNG exports drove all-time delivery records across its U.S. and Canadian natural gas pipeline systems in the fourth quarter and into 2026.
