The Chicago-based company said it had net income of $3.74 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $3.34 per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $3.25 per share.
The circuit protection manufacturer posted revenue of $613.3 million in the period, which fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $615.3 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $373.3 million, or $14.94 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.51 billion.
For the current quarter ending in March, Littelfuse expects its per-share earnings to range from $2.73 to $2.97.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $575 million to $605 million for the fiscal first quarter.
