Afternoon trading pushed cotton back into the black for the close. That left the front months 13 to 48 points higher for the bell. March cotton has printed a 229 point range so far.Â
The Seam reported 16,949 bales of cotton was sold on 12/20 for an average gross price of 81.98 cents. The 12/20 Cotlook A index was 195 points higher to 101.45 cents. The online cotton trading platform, The AWP for cotton is 72.25 cents, and will be updated after tomorrow’s close. ICE Certified Stocks were 8,901 bales on 12/19.Â
