Cotton futures are working on a turnaround Tuesday with triple digit gains through midday. March ’24 is up the most on a 3.2% gain to 80 cents flat. That still has the contract at a 126 point discount to the lead month March quote. New crop dec is at a 233 point discount to March.
The Cotlook A Index was 10 points lower on 12/12 to 98.8 cents. The Seam reported 2,865 bales were sold online for an average gross price of 84.75 cents on 12/09. The week’s AWP is 75.17 c/lb through Thursday.

May 23 Cotton is at 81.36, up 188 points,
Jul 23 Cotton is at 81.38, up 197 points
