AMES, Iowa (AP) _ Ames National Corp. (ATLO) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $5.5 million.
The Ames, Iowa-based bank said it had earnings of 62 cents per share.
The bank posted revenue of $18.1 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $15.9 million, beating Street forecasts.
Ames National shares have decreased roughly 7% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped nearly 8% in the last 12 months.
