Universal Solar Technology, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Nevada on July 24, 2007. The Company manufactures, markets, and sells silicon wafers to manufacturers of solar cells. In addition, it manufactures PV modules with solar cells purchased from third parties. The Company produces silicon wafers by extracting purified mono-crystalline silicon from virgin poly-silicon feedstock utilizing mono-crystalline silicon ingot growers. As of December 31, 2012, it had eleven mono-crystalline silicon ingot growers. Further, it has two semi-automatic production lines that manufacture PV modules. Its existing production capacity is approximately 20MW of PV modules per annum. The PV modules are designed for large scale, grid-connected solar power plants.
