Firebird Energy Inc was incorporated pursuant to the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) on July 31, 2007 as Firebird Capital Partners Inc. The Company was a Capital Pool Company ("CPC"), as defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") and the Company's shares became listed on the Exchange effective October 16, 2008. Effective January 21, 2011 the Company ceased to be a CPC, and its shares began trading under the symbol "FRD." On December 27, 2012 the Company changed its name to Firebird Energy Inc. The Company is engaged in the exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas and conducts many of its activities jointly with others.
