It is a credit card processing and merchant acquiring services company that provides credit card clearing services to merchants and financial institutions in China and elsewhere. It offers its merchant acquiring base to selected banks, provide support using world-class technology platforms, and maximize strategic partnerships to accelerate market development. The Company's initial focus is on China and Hong Kong based multinational retailers with expansion into other Asian markets as it develops. The payment processing industry is highly competitive. It is not currently subject to direct Chinese, federal, state or local regulation other than regulations applicable to businesses generally or directly applicable to electronic commerce. However, the Internet is increasingly popular. As a result, it is possible that a number of laws and regulations may be adopted with respect to the Internet.
