Nordex AG was launched in the year 1985. The Company is an integrated supplier of modern multi-megawatt onshore wind turbines for locations characterized by strong, medium and light wind conditions. The Company concentrates on developing and producing the entire system including the control software as well as the components and offering related services. In addition, the Company assembles wind turbines and provides the necessary after-sales service. The Company has stepped up product development and has launched new wind power platform with its Generation Delta. Apart from Germany, the Company also has production activities in United States and China. The sales team addresses 20 markets in EMEA, Asia, America, South Africa and Uruguay, among others. The Company's Generation Gamma range comprises the N90/2500, N100/2500 and the N117/2400 turbines. With the Generation Delta, the Company is offering the fourth generation of multi-megawatt platform N100/3300, N117/3000, N131/3000. Currently the Company has installed a total of over 5,970 turbines with an aggregate capacity of around 10,000 MW.
