Miranda Gold Corp was incorporated on May 4, 1993. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. Its primary focus is on gold exploration. It has varying interests in a number of mineral properties located in Nevada and more recently Alaska. The Company's preferred approach is to joint venture its properties to other companies for their further more advanced exploration and development. The majority of the Company's exploration projects are in Nevada with one project in Alaska. The business of mineral exploration and mining is competitive in all of its phases. All phases of Miranda's operations are subject to environmental regulation.
