Italmobiliare SpA was established in 1946. It is a financial holding company with investments in companies operating in different sectors, mainly industrial but also in financial and banks. The Company operates through the following segments: Construction Materials, Food Packaging and Thermal Insulation, Financial, Banking, Property, Sales and Other. The Construction Materials segment comprises the cement, ready mixed concrete and aggregates operations of the Italcementi group. The Food Packaging and thermal insulation segment operates through Sirap Gema S.p.A. and its subsidiaries. The Banking segment is composed of two wholly owned banks, Finter Bank Zurich and Credit Mobilier de Monaco. The Financial segment engages in the concerns of the parent Italmobiliare and the wholly owned financial companies. The Property, Services, and Other segment include a number of real estate companies and services companies essentially providing services within the Group. Its geographical areas include European Union, Other European countries, North America, Asia and Middle East, Africa, Trading and others.
