Imperial Metals Corp was incorporated under the Company Act (British Columbia) on December 6, 2001 under the name IMI Imperial Metals Inc. The Company changed its name to Imperial Metals Corporation on April 10, 2002. It is a mining company active in the acquisition, exploration, development, mining and production of base and precious metals. The Company's main properties and operations include: Mount Polley - open pit copper-gold mine (British Columbia); produces copper concentrate; Huckleberry - open pit copper mine (British Columbia); produces copper concentrate; Red Chris - copper-gold project (British Columbia) in development; operations expected to commence 4Q2014; Sterling - underground heap leach gold mine (Nevada, USA); produces gold dore; and Ruddock Creek - pre-development stage underground zinc/lead property (British Columbia).
