Guyana Goldfields Inc was incorporated under the name '6357458 Canada Inc.' pursuant to the Canada Business Corporations Act on March 2, 2005. The Company is a Canadian-based mineral exploration and development company. It mainly acquires, explores and develops gold deposits in the Guiana and South America. The Company has one material project, the Aurora gold project located in Guyana. The Company owns a 100% interest in the Aurora Gold Project, subject to a net smelter return royalty of 5% or 8%, depending on the price of gold, payable to the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission. The Company also holds a contiguous 102,220 acre land package located in the Aranka district of Guyana approximately thirty kilometres northeast of the Aurora Gold Project, known as the Aranka Properties which consist of a number of separate properties including Sulphur Rose.
