Aimia Inc formerly known as Groupe Aeroplan Inc., was incorporated on May 5, 2008 under the Canada Business Corporations Act. It is a loyalty management company. The Company operates in three regional segments, namely Canada, the United States and Asia-Pacific and (US & APAC) Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA). In Canada, the Company owns and operates the Aeroplan Program, a premier coalition loyalty program. In EMEA, it owns and operates the following coalition loyalty programs: Nectar UK, Nectar Italia, and Air Miles Middle East. Its EMEA segment also provides data driven analytics and insights services in the UK and internationally to retailers and their suppliers. The Company also develops analytical tools to provide services to clients globally to collect, analyze and derive actionable insight from their customer data which is used to improve marketing return-on-investment. In each of the regions, it provides proprietary loyalty services, including loyalty program strategy, design, launch and operation. It also offers clients a turnkey, feature rich, software as a service loyalty solution.
