Tara Minerals Corporation was incorporated in Nevada on May 12, 2006 and is in the exploration stage. The Company explores and develops mining properties which may be productive of gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, iron, industrial metals, and other associated metals. Tara Gold Resources Corp. which is also engaged in the exploration and development of mining properties in Mexico, owns approximately 52% of the Company's common stock. In 2005, Tara Gold became involved in the exploration of gold and silver mining properties. The Company currently has capacity to produce gold, silver, zinc, and lead concentrate from its 100% owned Don Roman mill. The mill comprises of three parallel circuits, each with 120 t/d capacity. The Company owns 25,400 acres in Mexico mining district and 7,060 acres Gold/Silver Picacho project.
