Delta Lloyd NV provides financial services. Its area of business activities also covers insurance, pensions, investing and banking sector. It provides its services to consumers, small and large companies, multinationals and pension funds. Delta Lloyd Group is structured into five segments: Life, General, Bank, Asset Management and Other. The Life segment comprises life insurance, savings, pensions and annuity business written by the life insurance subsidiaries, including managed pension fund business and the share of the other life and Delta Lloyd Group related business written by associates. The General insurance business provides insurance coverage to individuals and businesses for risks associated with motor vehicles, property, disability and liability, such as employers' liability and professional indemnity liability. Delta Lloyd Bank has retail banking and mortgage activities in the Netherlands and Belgium. The main sources of revenue for this operating segment are interest income and fees. The asset management business invests at its own risk and at the risk of policyholders, provides investment management services to institutional pension fund mandates and manages a range of retail investment products, including investment funds. Any business activities that are not reportable segments are reflected in other category. It includes Delta Lloyd Group's mortgage business which is unrelated to the Life and Bank segments.
