Cannavest Corp (CANV)

CannaVest Corp., was incorporated under the name Foreclosure Solutions, Inc. in the State of Texas on December 9, 2010. On January 29, 2013, the Company changed its name to CannaVEST Corp. The Company is engaged in manufacturing, marketing, and selling products containing hemp oil, including CBD. CBD is one of at least 65 cannabinoids found in hemp, and is non-psychoactive. Its current product portfolio are; Real Scientific Hemp Oil, Cibdex, Cibaderm, and CBD Simple. Hemp is an industrial plant related to marijuana. Fiber from the plant has long been used to make paper, clothing, rope and other products. Its oil is found in body-care products such as lotion, soap and cosmetics and in a host of foods, including energy bars, waffles, milk-free cheese, veggie burgers and bread. The market, customers and distribution methods for hemp-based products are large and diverse. These markets range from hemp-based bio plastics to textiles. It has opened a laboratory facility in San Diego, California. Its lab specializes in process development and product testing. It produces, markets and distributes hemp-based consumer products as well as supply raw hemp products including CBD to third parties in the industry.
