Cascades Inc (CADNF)

Cascades Inc was founded in 1964 and s incorporated and domiciled in Québec, Canada. It produces, converts and markets packaging and tissue products composed mainly of recycled fibres. From a manufacturer of primarily paper and cartonboard, the Company has emerged as the collector of recyclable materials in Canada, as well as one of the converters of corrugated packaging products, folding cartons, tissue papers and specialty products in North America. The Company's operations are managed in four segments: Containerboard, Boxboard Europe, Specialty Products (which constitutes the Packaging Products of the Company) and Tissue Papers. It's Tissue Group, produces paper hand towels, paper towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, napkins and wipers, and also designs dispensers for its tissue products. Its products for consumer markets are Cascades and other private brands and in the Away-from-Home market under the brands Decor, North River, Cascades ELITE, ServOne, Tandem and Wiping Solutions. The European Boxboard Group operates two plants in France that manufacture coated boxboard made from virgin fibres and holds close to a 58 % interest in Reno De Medici, an Italian public company that operates seven plants throughout Europe that manufacture coated boxboard made from recycled fibres.
