BluForest Inc is a carbon offset credit trading company with significant land assets in South America. The Company trades in carbon credits identified through Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) which is a United Nations sanctioned program intended to provide an additional and opportunity to reduce harmful CO2 emissions by conserving forests, the species they host, and the valuable ecosystems the support. Global deforestation is estimated to be the source of 20% of global greenhouse gas emissions - more than the entire global transportation system and second only to the energy segment. The Company is poised to do its part by halting the destruction of valuable rain forests on tracts of land.
