Bank Of China Ltd. was incorporated on August 2004. The Bank provides financial services to its customers through its network across the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and other 37 countries. The Bank operates the commercial banking business including corporate banking, personal banking and treasury operations. It also conducts investment banking business via Bank of China International Holdings Ltd, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary. The Company is also engaged in fund management services via Bank of China Investment Management Co., Ltd., direct investment and investment management via Bank of China Group Investment Ltd, its wholly-owned subsidiary, and aircraft leasing via BOC Aviation Pte Ltd. The Company operates its insurance business within Hong Kong through BOCG Insurance, which owns three branches and one business center in Hong Kong. The Company also operates aircraft leasing business through BOC Aviation. It has a portfolio of 226 aircraft, of which 206 were owned and 20 were managed, operated by 56 airlines in 32 countries. The Company has developed and enhanced its e-banking channels, including online banking, telephone banking, mobile banking, self-service banking, home banking and wechat banking. It offers services to corporate customers, including SME loans, express agency collection, express foreign exchange settlement, bill pool, supply chain orders financing, among others. The bank is subject to a systematic financial accounting policy system in accordance with the relevant accounting laws and regulations.
