AXA SA was incorporated in 1957. It is an insurance company. The Company has five operating business segments: Life & Savings,Property & Casualty, International Insurance, Asset Management, and Banking. In addition, various holding companies within the AXA Group conduct certain nonoperating activities. Life & Savings products including Individual and Group savings products, as well as Life and Health products for both individual and commercial clients. Property & Casualty Segment offers a broad range of products including motor, household property and general liability insurance for both Personal and Commercial customers targeting mainly small to medium sized companies. International Insurance segment are principally focused on large risks, reinsurance and assistance. The Company operates in Europe, North America, the Asia-Pacific Region and, to a lesser extent, in other regions including the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
