Rolls of Fabric from Cotton
Cotton futures are starting the new week with triple digit gains through midday. Old crop futures are up 242 to 255 points. New crop cotton is 155 to 263 points stronger and setting new LoC highs.Â
The Cotlook A index was 150.05 cents/lb on 4/8, down by 225 points. The Seam reported 6,925 bales were sold online on for 123.19 cents on 4/7. USDA’s AWP for cotton is 103.42 for the week through Thursday.Â
