Cotton futures recovered early on Wednesday with triple digit gains. As for the midday quotes, the board has slid back off the highs, but old crop is still up 275 to 278 points and new crop futures are still 72 to 99 points stronger.
USDA’s Daily Spot Quotations report showed 2,807 bales of cotton was sold at spot, taking the season’s total to 1.549m bales. The Cotlook A index was another 3 cents higher to 155.75 cents for 3/29. USDA’s AWP for cotton is 122.07 cents/lb.

Jul 22 Cotton is at 135.98, up 273 points,
