Front month cotton futures are back up by triple digits nearby, with new crop gaining 72 to 79 points.
The 2/25 Cotlook A index was down 220 points to 135.20 cents/lb. USDA’s weekly Cotton Market Review showed 34,584 bales were sold at spot through the week that ended 2/24 with the average selling price of 118.32 cents/lb. USDA reduced the Adjusted World Price for cotton another 88 points to 113.74 cents/lb.
May 22 Cotton is at 119.49, up 86 points,
Jul 22 Cotton is at 116.29, up 95 points,
Dec 22 Cotton is at 100.95, up 62 points
