AURORA, Ill. (AP) _ Cabot Microelectronics Corp. (CCMP) on Wednesday reported fiscal first-quarter net income of $27.4 million.
The Aurora, Illinois-based company said it had profit of 95 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $2.06 per share.
The chip equipment maker posted revenue of $317 million in the period.
Cabot shares have decreased slightly more than 3% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $185.41, an increase of 18% in the last 12 months.
