February Hogs are trading at contract lows as we head into the fall. It looks cheap and I expect to see a resurgence in the February contract and here is a trade idea for the February contract.
Trade Idea:
Buy the February 2027 Lean Hog 74 call
Sell the February 2027 Lean Hog 80 vs 74 put spread.
Cost to Entry -even money plus commissions and fees.
Margin $1568 per spread.
Maximum risk at option expiration: $2400 plus trade costs and fees.
