OAK RIDGE, Tenn., Aug. 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TRISO-X, LLC ("TRISO-X" or the “Company”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of X-Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq:XE) (“X-energy”), today announced the start of the next phase of construction at its first-in-the-nation advanced nuclear fuel fabrication facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This will include construction of auxiliary buildings, and the commencement of interior buildout and equipment installation. The plant is expected to be the first commercial facility in the United States dedicated to fabricating tristructural-isotropic ("TRISO") fuel for advanced reactors, supporting X-energy's first proposed deployment of its Xe-100 in partnership with Dow, Inc. ("Dow") through the Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program.
