Fibonacci Retracements & Why They Matter In Grains
(ZSU26)
The charts are key to this analysis.
There are two methods we use at ONE44 to find support and resistance in the markets.
The first are major Gann squares, these are the yellow horizontal lines on the chart.
The second is Fibonacci retracements.
On the charts you can see how many times the markets found support, or resistance and the major Gann squares and Fibonacci retracements.
We have done 45 videos on how to use the Fibonacci retracements with the ONE44 rules and guidelines. These Videos are worth watching even if it is not in the market you are trading, as the ONE44 rules and guidelines are the same for every market. You will also see why we believe the Fibonacci retracements are the underlying structure of ALL markets. This is the latest.
This is our analysis for September Soybeans for this week. You can see on the chart how many lows held a Fibonacci retracement since the contract low.

September
From last week,
Every close was below the 1182.00 (23.6%) swing point for the week. It now has three closes below the 1164.75 major Gann square and this will be the key level for the week.
Use 1164.75 as the swing point for the week.
Above it, the short term target is 38.2% at 1184.00 if this is all it can rally it is a negative sign and a new low can quickly follow. The longer term.…
All of this week's closes were below, or at the 1164.75 major Gann square and swing point for the week. The spike higher yesterday after the report fell short of 38.2% back to the 7/24/26 high at 1184.00 and this will be the key level for the week. While the longer term trend remains positive above 38.2% at 1143.00 a failure to get above 38.2% above at 1184.00 is a negative sign and 1143.00 will be the short term target.
Use 1184.00 as the swing point for the week.
Above it, the short term target is 78.6% back to the 7/24/26 high at 1224.00, a failure to make a new high in this area can be the end of the rally for now per the ONE44 78.6% rule. The long term target is 61.8% on the continuation chart at 1355.00. Before then there are major Gann squares to look for resistance and then use as the swing point when closed above at 1287.75 and 1332.00.
Below it, the short term target is 38.2% back to the contract low at 1143.00, holding this level keeps the short term trend positive and a new high possible. The longer term target area is the 1092.00 major Gann square and 61.8% back to the same low at 1081.00.
