EDMONTON - Capital Power Corp. has reported net income attributable to shareholders of $154 million during the third quarter, a decline from $179 million a year earlier.
That profit amounted to 94 cents per diluted share, down from $1.32 in the same quarter last year.
Adjusted funds from operations rose to $369 million, from $315 million.
Revenues and other income were $1.21 billion, an increase from $1.03 billion during the third quarter of 2024.
The Edmonton-based power generator says in September it entered into a term sheet to potentially develop a data centre adjacent to its natural gas fired plant in Michigan.
The company has also announced that chief financial officer Sandra Haskins is set to retire at the end of this year after a 23-year tenure.
