VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 3, 2024 /CNW/ - A&W Revenue Royalties Income Fund (TSX:AW-UN.TO) (the "Fund") is pleased to announce that Glass Lewis & Co., LLC ("Glass Lewis"), a leading independent proxy advisory firm, has recommended that unitholders of the Fund vote FOR the proposed strategic combination (the "Transaction") between the Fund and A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. ("A&W Food Services") to create a leading publicly traded growth-focused quick-service restaurant ("QSR") franchisor ("A&W Food Services NewCo"). Glass Lewis' recommendation is in addition to the recommendation in favour of the Transaction already received from Institutional Shareholder Services Inc.
