(Nasdaq:CLXT), a plant-based synthetic biology company, and Cibus, a leader in precision gene editing in agriculture, today announced that Calyxt has filed a registration statement on Form S-4 (the "Registration Statement") with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") on February 14, 2023. The combined company is expected to be renamed Cibus, Inc. and remain listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the proposed ticker symbol CBUS.
